Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Large Learning Model (LLM) Statement

Artwork

Cupid’s Arrow Publishing DOES NOT utilize AI-generated stock images or Generative-AI programs that train off content where the original creators were not credited nor compensated. This includes, but is not limited to: Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E, ChatGPT, etc. Due to the high number of AI-generated images appearing on stock image websites, should a stock photo be used that we or the author later suspects to be generated using generative AI, we will as quickly as is reasonable alter the design to replace the image.

Submissions

Upon submission of their work, authors are required to certify that they did not use AI tools in creating text content and/or images in the final creation of their work.

Content (From Our Standard Publishing Agreements)

Author’s Warranties and Indemnity

“The Author warrants that generative AI (artificial intelligence or machine language technology) was not used to produce the Work and agrees to notify Publisher of any AI-generated text in the finished manuscript. Publisher may elect to reject the Work if more than 1% of the text is AI-generated. For the purposes of clarification, “generative AI” excludes grammar- and spelling-checking tools and similar support tools under full control of the Author.”
